The Hendrickson Method® is an advanced method of assessment, massage, mobilization and neuromuscular reeducation techniques synthesized with Eastern energy practices. It is a system of functional rehabilitation that is extraordinarily effective in treating many types of musculoskeletal conditions, both acute and chronic, such as neck, shoulder, low back and hip pain, nerve entrapment, whiplash, rotator cuff, knee and repetitive strain injuries.
Chiropractic care is the treatment of the spine and extremities using the hands as the primary tool. The chiropractic treatment I provide focuses on restoring proper movement and function to the spine and extremities. The techniques I utilize are gentle manual adjustments and Activator Methods®.
Combining these two manual therapies, addressing both the soft tissues and the structure, produces a powerful treatment helping to restore the body to optimal function by addressing the source of the pain rather than just the symptoms.
I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West. In addition, I am a certified massage therapist with over 1000 hours of training and have practiced manual therapy in the Bay Area for over 20 years. My certifications include Hendrickson Method®Therapist from the Hendrickson Method Institute and Advanced Structural Bodywork and Prenatal Massage from the Alive & Well! Institute of Conscious Bodywork.
